What is an LSV?

Think of it as your vacation shortcut. An LSV, or Low-Speed Vehicle, is a street-legal golf cart built for getting around town at a relaxed pace. With a top speed of 25 mph, it’s the perfect way to cruise to the beach, grab dinner, or run quick errands without ever moving your car.

 
Just like a full-size vehicle, LSVs must obey all traffic laws and are only permitted on roads with posted speed limits of 35 mph or less. Some community restrictions may apply.
 
A few things to know before you go:
  • Drivers must be at least 25 years old (insurance requirement)
  • Carts are plugged in and charging when you arrive—please keep them plugged in whenever you’re home, especially overnight
  • Never drive on the beach or sand
